Mira Sethi, a well-known Pakistani actor and writer, has recently confirmed the news of her divorce. She has appeared in several popular dramas, including Kuch Ankahi, Janam, Paristan, Silvatain, Mohabbat Subh Ka Sitara Hai, and Chupke Chupke. Apart from her acting career, Mira comes from a prominent media family. Her parents are respected journalists and television personalities, while her brother, Ali Sethi, is a globally recognized singer.
Mira married Bilal Siddiqui in November 2019 in California after a long-term relationship. However, during a candid conversation with Sabahat Zakariya on the digital platform Feminustani, she revealed that their marriage had ended.
Sharing details about the difficult phase, Mira explained, “A few months after Kuch Ankahi, I got divorced. It happened in March 2023, which is about two and a half years ago. At that time, working on Kuch Ankahi gave me something positive to focus on. I would wake up and go to the set, and it helped me cope. Sajal, Ahmed Saab, and director Nadeem Baig were aware of my situation, and they treated me with immense kindness and care.”
