Pakistani actress Anoushay Abbasi, known for her strong performances in dramas like Pyarey Afzal and Raqs e Bismil, has opened up about a personal chapter of her life. Belonging to a well-known showbiz family — with Shamoon Abbasi, Javeria Abbasi, and Anzela Abbasi all being part of the industry — Anoushay has made her own mark through talent and dedication.
In 2014, she married actor Ainan Arif, and their wedding pictures created a lot of buzz at the time. However, years later, Anoushay has revealed that the marriage ended in 2019.
The actress chose not to share the news earlier because of her mother’s illness. Speaking on Ushna Shah’s show After Hours, she explained that her mother was very unwell during that period, and she did not want people to question her about her divorce while visiting. She preferred that their attention remain on her mother’s health and recovery.
“I did not want to disturb my mother or make her feel stressed,” Anoushay said, explaining why she kept such a significant life change away from the public eye.
