Javeria Saud Reveals She Slapped Many People in Her Youth

Popular Pakistani actress and host Javeria Saud has always been known for her bold, confident, and outspoken personality — and her recent revelation on the comedy show Mazaq Raat proves just that. The Yeh Zindagi Hai star shared how, in her younger days, she didn’t hesitate to stand up for herself — even if that meant slapping someone who crossed a line. Javeria, who began her career with PTV and has since become a well-known name in the entertainment industry, recalled how times were different back then. She explained that many women used to remain silent when they faced harassment because they feared what their families — especially their fathers — might think. However, Javeria said she never let fear stop her from speaking up or taking action. Sharing one particular incident, the actress revealed, “There was a guy who followed me for nearly three months. One day, he stopped me on the road — and I hit him with my makeup bag. Later, I told my family, and they handled the situation.” She laughed as she described how that wasn’t the only time she slapped someone; she did it whenever it was necessary. On Samaa TV’s morning show Subh Ka Samaa, hosted by Madeha Naqvi, she broke down while recounting the pain of multiple miscarriages and the losses that reshaped her life. Amna Malik Speaks Out on Society’s Obsession with Sons and the Pain of Miscarriage

Pakistani actress and television host Amna Malik has always been admired for her honesty, beauty, and bold personality. Known for speaking her mind without hesitation, Amna has often used her platform to address sensitive social issues. In a recent and emotional appearance on Fuchsia, she opened up about a deeply personal experience — her three miscarriages — and how society’s obsession with having sons made her journey even more painful. A Painful Reality Behind the Glamour Amna Malik revealed that she has lost three baby boys due to miscarriages, a heartbreaking experience that took a severe toll on her mental and physical health. However, what shocked her most was the way society responded. “People see you as a machine,” Amna shared. “They tell you to try again after a few months, completely ignoring what your body and mind are going through.” Instead of receiving compassion for her grief as a mother, Amna noticed that most people’s concern centered around the fact that she had lost a son. Their sympathy wasn’t about her emotional suffering — it was about the gender of the baby. Highlighting Society’s Deep-Rooted Gender Bias Amna Malik’s candid confession highlights a harsh truth — gender preference is still deeply rooted in our culture. Despite progress in education and awareness, many families still view sons as symbols of strength, pride, and lineage, while daughters are often undervalued. Amna expressed disappointment at how people tend to measure a woman’s worth or success as a mother based on whether she gives birth to a boy. “It’s heartbreaking to see how much value is placed on a child’s gender rather than the blessing of life itself,” she said. Support and Strength Within Her Family Despite societal pressure, Amna Malik expressed gratitude for having a supportive husband and family. She shared that while her husband’s relatives hoped for a grandson, her husband never made her feel pressured to have a son. “I have three sisters, and now I’m blessed with two amazing daughters,” Amna said proudly. “I was raised in a home where daughters were never seen as less than sons, and that’s exactly how I’m raising my girls too.” Her positive attitude and confidence in breaking stereotypes make her story even more inspiring. Amna represents a modern Pakistani woman who stands firm against outdated traditions and advocates for equality within families. Breaking the Silence Around Miscarriage Miscarriage remains one of the most taboo and under-discussed topics in Pakistani society. Many women suffer in silence, fearing judgment or blame. By speaking openly about her loss, Amna Malik has not only broken that silence but also encouraged empathy, understanding, and open dialogue about women’s emotional well-being. She reminded everyone that miscarriage is not a failure — it’s a deeply painful experience that deserves support and compassion. Changing the Mindset for Future Generations Amna Malik’s story is a reflection of a larger issue — how cultural expectations and gender bias still affect women’s lives in Pakistan. It’s time for society to evolve beyond the obsession with sons and start celebrating all children equally, regardless of gender. Her words are a powerful reminder that a mother’s love is not defined by whether she has sons or daughters — it’s defined by her strength, care, and unconditional love. This is what she revealed:

Mishi Khan’s Harsh Criticism on Pakistan Cricket Team’s Asia Cup Performance

The Pakistan Cricket Team is currently facing one of the worst phases in its history. With continuous defeats and disappointing performances, many fans have started losing faith in the team. Even die-hard supporters admit that watching Pakistan play has become frustrating, especially after the team’s disastrous run in the recent Asia Cup. The national squad not only underperformed but also suffered the humiliation of losing to India three times in a single tournament, including the final match. Among those who expressed disappointment, Mishi Khan, a well-known actress and avid cricket supporter, has been extremely vocal. She delivered brutal criticism of the Pakistan cricket team’s performance, questioning their intent, planning, and commitment to representing the country on an international stage. Mishi Khan openly said, “Shame on all of you”, pointing towards the lack of effort shown by the players. She highlighted that the team entered matches without proper strategy and seemed unwilling to improve despite repeated failures. Her criticism did not stop there. She particularly called out Haris Rauf, questioning his poor bowling and lack of consistency. She also targeted Agha Salman, who had earlier claimed that the team would “rectify the batting line.” Mishi Khan’s response was cutting: “When will you rectify it? The tournament is already over.” In her final remarks, Mishi Khan accused many players of being “parchis” — individuals who secure their place in the team through favoritism rather than merit. She emphasized that this lack of accountability has left fans disappointed, as players continue to perform poorly without fear of being dropped. The Pakistan Cricket Team’s downfall in the Asia Cup has sparked widespread debate, with Mishi Khan’s criticism echoing the frustrations of millions of fans. Unless major reforms are made, the team risks losing not just matches but also the unwavering support of its loyal followers.

She recalled the pain of being betrayed in the past and how much inner strength it took to move forward. Interestingly, Zainab began her career during her university days as a radio host on a show called Guru. The program became unexpectedly popular, especially because listeners often turned to her for relationship advice—something she admitted was ironic since she herself was struggling with love at the time. Although she never planned on becoming an actress, Zainab eventually found her passion on stage. She explained that acting allows her to express feelings she usually keeps hidden. “Acting lets me laugh, cry, and feel in ways I can’t in real life,” she said, describing the stage as a safe space for her emotions. Opening up further, Zainab touched on the subject of unrequited love. She made it clear that one-sided affection is not real love but rather a form of torment. She shared that she prefers to be honest about her feelings instead of keeping them hidden. The actress also spoke about the betrayal that deeply hurt her. “My ex made excuses about being forced into the situation, but I eventually realized it was all calculated deception,” she revealed. Tara Mahmood Recalls Awkward Role as Father’s Friend’s Second Wife

Talented actress Tara Mahmood has been part of Pakistan’s entertainment industry for many years, but her journey has not been without challenges and some unusual experiences. In a recent podcast with Ahmed Ali Butt, she opened up about an especially awkward situation that she faced early in her career. Tara revealed that she once had to play the role of veteran actor Usman Pirzada’s second wife in a drama. The role was emotionally uncomfortable for her because Pirzada is a close friend of her father. “I didn’t know whether to call him uncle or something else,” Tara laughed while recalling the situation, describing it as both strange and difficult. Talking about her struggles, Tara shared that in the beginning she would only get one or two projects at a time due to fewer opportunities. Living alone in Karachi with high expenses, she found delayed payments very stressful. She admitted that the most painful part was having to chase after her own money. Fortunately, things have changed with time. Tara now works on multiple projects simultaneously, so a delay in one payment no longer creates as much financial strain. However, she pointed out a big flaw in the industry—the lack of respect and recognition given to supporting actors, despite their important contributions to dramas and films. On a personal note, Tara shared that five years ago she had no plans to get married, but today she feels differently. “If the right person comes into my life, I will go for it,” she said. She also admitted that, for a long time, she kept her family background hidden from the industry. Few people knew she is the daughter of Shafqat Mahmood, a retired bureaucrat and politician who served as Pakistan’s federal minister for education and professional training, and for national history and literary heritage, between 2018 and 2022. Over the years, Tara has won hearts with her performances in hit dramas like Mere Humsafar, Suno Chanda, Chupke Chupke, Anaa, and Diyar-e-Dil. She has also made her mark in films, including Seedlings (2013) and Altered Skin (2018). Tara Mahmood’s journey shows how perseverance, talent, and honesty can help an actor grow, even when faced with challenges and awkward situations.

Dr Bilquis is a well-known television personality in Pakistan, often seen on morning shows where she shares remedies and health tips for issues ranging from skin care to kidney, liver, and fertility problems. Recently, she appeared on Samaa TV’s morning show, which was focused on infertility issues in both men and women. During the discussion, she shared a very personal and painful experience from her own life. Dr Bilquis revealed that she has always been very close to her daughter and often talks about her with love and pride. However, despite having a daughter, she faced harsh criticism from people simply because she did not have a son at that time. She shared that even educated women made cruel remarks, with one telling her, “Aik anda woh bhi ganda” (one egg and that too rotten). Her son was born ten years after her daughter, but until then, people would taunt her saying, “You advise so many people, yet you yourself don’t have a son.” This judgment and ridicule caused her immense emotional pain, but she openly spoke about it to highlight the unfair pressures placed on women in society. After her story was aired, many women sympathized with her and also shared their own struggles. One viewer wrote, “I went through something similar. I have three daughters. Just imagine how people speak to me.” Another shared, “Imagine the pain of women who don’t have children at all.” A mother of two daughters added, “I am still treated horribly by people.” Dr Bilquis’s experience sheds light on the toxic mindset still present in society, where daughters are undervalued, and women are blamed for not having sons. Her courage in speaking about this issue has opened doors for many others to share their pain and highlight the need for change.
