Farah Iqrar Explains Why She Hasn’t Bought Her Own House

Well-known media personality Farah Iqrar has been a part of the news industry since 2007. Starting her career with ARY News, she has also worked with leading channels such as Samaa, Ab Tak, and Dawn. Over the years, she has built a solid reputation in journalism and now runs a successful YouTube channel where she shares her thoughts and opinions. Farah is also known for being the second wife of senior anchor Iqrar ul Hassan, who is married to three women — Qurat ul Ain, Farah, and Aroosa.

Recently, a podcast clip of Farah with host Ahmed Fozan began making rounds on social media. In the discussion, she opened up about why she has never bought or built her own house.

Farah revealed that her mother often calls her an “overspender,” pointing out that most of her earnings go towards travel and personal expenses. According to her mother, this is the main reason she hasn’t invested in property.

Addressing the matter, Farah clarified that buying a house has never been her priority. She explained:

“I don’t want to make a house, nor do I have any plans for it. I believe this world is temporary, and in the end, we all have to return to Allah. Our real home is in the Hereafter.”

Farah also shared that she is not brand-conscious and prefers to live a simple life. Her close friends, she said, already know that she values experiences and simplicity over material possessions.

Her candid explanation has sparked conversations online, with many appreciating her perspective on prioritizing faith and simplicity over societal expectations.
