Popular Pakistani actress and host Javeria Saud has always been known for her bold, confident, and outspoken personality — and her recent revelation on the comedy show Mazaq Raat proves just that. The Yeh Zindagi Hai star shared how, in her younger days, she didn’t hesitate to stand up for herself — even if that meant slapping someone who crossed a line.
Javeria, who began her career with PTV and has since become a well-known name in the entertainment industry, recalled how times were different back then. She explained that many women used to remain silent when they faced harassment because they feared what their families — especially their fathers — might think. However, Javeria said she never let fear stop her from speaking up or taking action.

Sharing one particular incident, the actress revealed, “There was a guy who followed me for nearly three months. One day, he stopped me on the road — and I hit him with my makeup bag. Later, I told my family, and they handled the situation.” She laughed as she described how that wasn’t the only time she slapped someone; she did it whenever it was necessary.
Javeria Saud also highlighted how society has changed for the better. She said that women today are far more empowered, and men now think twice before harassing or disrespecting someone. “Back then, women were scared. But now, times have changed — men are afraid,” she added proudly.

Her fearless attitude and honesty have earned her even more admiration from fans, who praised her for being a strong voice for women’s self-respect.
