Pakistani actress and television host Mishi Khan has once again made headlines — this time for her fiery response to singer Jawad Ahmed. Known for her outspoken nature and strong opinions on social and political issues, Mishi didn’t hold back while defending Senator Mushtaq Ahmed, who recently joined the Freedom Flotilla — a humanitarian mission carrying aid for the people of Palestine.
Jawad Ahmed, in one of his videos, had criticized the Senator’s participation, calling it a “publicity stunt” that, in his view, did little to help Gaza. His comments sparked outrage among Pakistanis, many of whom praised Senator Mushtaq’s courage and condemned Jawad’s insensitivity.

Adding her voice to the public backlash, Mishi Khan shared a strongly worded video message where she called out Jawad Ahmed, labeling him a “bonga singer” — a colloquial term used to mock someone for foolishness. Mishi, visibly frustrated, said:
“There is a limit to everything! I tried to ignore this bonga singer Jawad Ahmed who keeps talking nonsense in front of the mic. Who the hell is he to speak against Senator Mushtaq, calling his Gaza visit a publicity stunt?”

She went on to remind Jawad Ahmed of his own career choices, accusing him of doing everything in life “for fame and money.” Mishi sarcastically referred to an old incident where, according to her, Jawad’s suit tore at a function at Minar-e-Pakistan, saying that even his wardrobe hasn’t evolved since then.
Mishi Khan also alleged that the singer had once stolen electricity for his wife’s beauty salon — a claim that reignited online debates about his credibility and public image. She concluded her statement by accusing Jawad of being blinded by his “hatred for Imran Khan.”
Fans quickly took sides, with many applauding Mishi Khan’s bold defense of Senator Mushtaq Ahmed and her outspoken nature, while others felt that her tone was unnecessarily harsh. Regardless, her video became one of the most talked-about clips of the day on Pakistani social media.
Mishi Khan’s latest statement once again proves that she isn’t afraid to speak her mind — especially when it comes to standing up for what she believes in.
